Jamie Hutchings - Live at Vinyl Cafe

Jamie Hutchings returns to Perth for his first headline solo show in more than five years! Armed with over 25 years of releases, Hutchings will draw from all eras, interpreting his songs at their most stripped back. This also serves as a launch for Hutchings new, and sixth solo album, A New. Released on October 13th on limited LP and CD, A New sees Hutchings handling drums, bass, guitars, percussion and vocals, giving it uniquely homespun bent. Hidden Corners - Group Art Exhibition at Vinyl Cafe Leederville

Hidden Corners is an all female group exhibition, showcasing some of Perth's most experienced artists alongside some emerging artists who have never exhibited before. The event runs from 6pm - 9pm.  The show will be Vinyl Gallery’s debut exhibition and will be sponsored by CAMPUS Brewing, Lactalis Australia and Vinyl Cafe.

Gun Fu - Benjamin Witt, Harry Mitchell, Ben Vanderwal and Marc Earley. Friday October 13th at Vinyl Cafe

Gun Fu is an experimental jazz group featuring Benjamin Witt, Harry Mitchell, Ben Vanderwal and Marc Earley. The band will interpret Witt’s compositions which take influence from a wide range of places including Cuba, West Africa and the New York No Wave and downtown jazz scenes. Tickets are just $5 on the door from 7pm but you are welcome to come down earlier if you please. The kitchen will be open and so will the bar. Music starts around 8am to late.
