Tim Jago, guitarist/ composer/ educator, returns briefly to Perth from the U.S. for a rare, one-off show. Expect to hear a program of cutting edge music, encompassing genre-bending influences from the jazz tradition and beyond, with an emphasis on groove that is infectious.
For this evening, Jago reunites with long time collaborators and stalwarts of the Australian music scene; Ben Vanderwal on drums and Karl Florisson on bass. Coming off their recently released album, 'Best Buddies', (co-led by Tim Jago and saxophonist extraordinaire, Troy Roberts) it is a rare chance to see and hear this unique collective of individuals together again in this beautifully intimate setting.
